Towing with a TQ - Data

I had a couple of requests for towing capacity specs, one of which
suggested I put it out on the list.  First, an apology.  Contrary to my
previous posting, U.S. Audi sales literature does not specify towing
limits (I must have been looking up something else).  But European
literature does.  Hence the figures below are from German catalogs.

'86-'88 5KCSQ/TQ (from an '87 100/200 catalog stated in kg, translated
1kg = 2.2 lbs):
Sedan with braked trailer - 3102 lbs        
Sedan with unbraked trailer - 1540 lbs
Wagon with braked trailer - 3190 lbs
Wagon with unbraked trailer - 1595 lbs

'85 ur-q: 
With braked trailer - 2640 lbs
With unbraked trailer - 1320 lbs

All figures are for altitudes up to 1000m (about 300 ft) and assume
grades of no more that 10%.
