I have used Armor All for years on my mercedes dash, the car is 17
years old and probably looks better that showroom condition when we
bought it. I also used it on my 72 240-z, all original inside, no cracks
after 25 years, not bad. Just make sure you are using it right, let it
soak in. Dont just spray and wipe.
	I tried vaseline on my audi dash,put it on, let it sit for a day. I
didnt like it, and it didnt last as long as the Armor All. 
	For me, Armor All's the way to go.
