Mark,

Your Rally project sounds interesting. In your list I didn't see the additionl 
price for race harnesses, roll cage, Fire system, or double welds to the frame 
members. I assume you'l be doing all this yourself.

BTW about six years ago I started with a Datsun 510 and was prepared to do it 
"low budget." My dearest wife was kind enough to allow me this innocent 
adventure. By the time I was ready to roll in a relatively stock 510 I had 
expended $7,500. The car was great in two wheeled open class but I needed more 
brakes and then a diff and how about a balance bar for brakes and, and 


Long way of saying good luck and stick with a budget. Otherwise the desire to 
add "just one more thing" will eat you alive!
