	Barton, the LS4 is a very nice idea.

	Swapping motors  is an interesting thing, indeed.  Buddy and I 
ran a Monza with a blown rat motor [Doug Nash 5 speed] for a while; my 
Willy's had a Buick V6; old LandCruiser with a 350 4bolt [scary, scary, 
scary--don't try this at home:)]; stroked 440 in a Dart; etc.  Major 
problem with the Audi, is getting something to mate to the tranny.  Motor 
mounts usually are not a big deal; cross member could be.

	Sometimes when I look at this Audi, I dream of the old easy 4 
barrel carbs.  No sensors, etc.  Perhaps I have forgotten with time the 
problems we had back then...
