Titanium

I know some brains on this list will enlighten us on the actual
differences--in addition to weight and strength. The only time I have
heard of Ti being used is on race applications, which is basically what
Eric has confirmed. In fact, the applications that I have seen used the
Ti in the coil-over design. Since the most forward thinking race designs
are no longer using coil-overs, will the use of Ti change also?

Stuff is also used on the newest "swing-arm" [not a swing-arm at
all, but kind of a mono-arm] on race bikes. Weight would definitely be
one of the reasons there, as would the incredible strength. 5 pnds is 5
pnds, especially when your rider has no more weight to lose:)

PS Scott, I see the wagon in your shed is gaining a whole lotta
letters, numbers, etc. We aren't going to have to run a wagon war this
summer are we?
