RE: Gearbox problems on a 1988 90 Q
I was talking to one of those obscure, hidden down county lane mechanic
types who owned the same model as me for many years, and at about 100K
miles (mine's a little over this) he rebuilt his gearbox as a
precautionary measure. He said that he drained the oil and it looked so
clean, he put it right back in again!
