Nope. Let's try again. Yes, the syncro drivetrain that RPI put into
their GTI I believe was the viscous coupling system. But the original
question that was put to the list was regarding a VW _QUANTUM_ syncro,
which _does_ have the Audi quattro dirvetrain in it. VW released many
models with the syncro badge (only two in the US), most had viscous AWD
systems, but the quantums so badged were quattros thru and thru. "JT" 5
cylinder engine and lockable diffs and all. I consider it a 4000Q wagon.
