High mileage 4000q for sale?

Dear listers,

A 86 4000sq is for sale with 288,000 kilometers. It is a second owner car.
The second owner purchased the car at 44,000kms with Audi card and has taken
good care of it.  The body is a little rough, but no rust to speak of. It is
a five speed.  The CV joints are all still original. Any thoughts about a
fair price in US or CDN money?  Is this car still good for a commutor car?
