Bought a micro-fiche viewer.

Hmm.  Beware of the fact that VAG microfiche are an utterly unique size (apart 
from, allegedly, BMW motorbike fiche).
 
They're around 7" by 9" (though one of those numbers has to have 0.5" appended, 
and I can't remember which).  In short, 99.999999% of the microfiche viewers 
you're likely to find second-hand _won't_ read wierd Audi fiche.

All of the viewers I've seen that can take Audi fiche were manufactured by 
Minox in Giessen.  Minox is better known to the public as the manufacturer of 
the classic "push-pull" miniature camera so beloved of Hollywood's spies, but 
in real life it's a serious commercial outfit specialising in microfilm and 
microfiche solutions.  German engineering, but to a smaller market even than 
Audi.  Expect to pay ...
