Re: Coupe GT clutch job report
You probably do not want to hear this but me and my friend did
manage to remove a tranny out of my 1982 Coupe without removing the
dual downpipe.
How we did it I don't know. All I know is we had to tilt the engine
up in order to make the down pipe go down and out of the way.
The whole job took about 8 hours of swaring and getting eyes full of
dirt.
I do not want to do this again in the future, it's probably easier
to loosen the engine from the motor mounts and make it swing totally
without the subframe in place than take the tranny off when it's
tilted 45 degrees.
Glad you do the work yourself. Must like the feeling of the job
well done and many miles to follow.
