Neat Feature (92 S4)

Actually, the button on the winshield washer knob operates an entirely
separate windshield washer system. Reservoir is located behind the
bulkhead in the engine compartment (in front of the passenger's seat).
Audi claimed they had a special "high intensity" washer solution you
can put in this tank to supplement the regular system. I think all the early
'90/'91's (100's) had this feature, not just the S4. On my S4, the auxiliary
system has _great_ pressure, while the regular system piddles onto the
windshield. Someone posted about a check valve (so the headlights
get their fair share of fluid or some such) which may not be functioning
on mine.
You've been b**tching about your '93 S4 for a while now. Do you like
the '92 any better? Mine, I found, is stiffer than the later ones (now, be nice
Bob D) and has a rear anti-roll bar. Of course, all this changes with
aftermarket suspension gear.
