Hi there Merlin!
I don't know what kind of a response you got, but I really doubt there is
very much interest in old Audis here in the US. There is one particular
car I've always wanted to know more about from that era, it was a car that
was produced in the mid to late '50s and was styled similarly to the Ford
T-birds of the same vintage. I don't know the name of the car, but I know
that it was powered by a 2-stroke engine. I have a book at home that lists
all the cars imported into the USA from 1950-1990 ... it is a paperback
book and I'm sure fairly available (I think I got mine from Classic Motor-
books). There are a number of folks that have 1997 Audi calendars, which
do include a number of cars from that vintage.
If you'd like I can look up something in the book I described before. If
so, if you would provide a little bit more descriptive info I might have
a better chance of identifying the car.
