Actually most of Canadian 4000's all the way from 1982-87 have the 5-cyl
engine with a 5 speed box. They are all loaded as well with power windows,
mirrors, heated mirrors, air condition, power steering, most had the heated
seats and a sunroof. To think of it I've never seen an 1983-84 4000s
without a 5-cyl engine here in Canada.

Interesting. I should have specified that I was talking about US models.
Hope this didn't cause any confusion/uproars.
