V8Q for sale, bouncyneedleitis
Hello out there on the "My Audi's broken too" list,
First, I recall someone writing that the correct fix for a bouncy speedo needle was a cable lube. I
therefore visited my friends at NAPA and bought a lube for this very purpose. It didn't help, despite
its introduction to a slowly moving cable (by hand) with moderate force at both ends of the cable.
So, am I doing this wrong? I will gladly accept any theories.
Second, I read today in the paper that Northland Audi (I am personally not too crazy about their
inept service department and pedantic, schoolmarmish parts person, but...) is selling a slushbox 93
V8Q for (I think) 17,945 USD. If this is the same one that sat in their lot about 2 months ago, it is
black/black and the body looks pretty darn nice. If anyone is interested I will find out more, though
I doubt they'll let _me_ drive the thing.
--Have a nice day. Really. No, I'm not saying that just to be polite. Just have one.
