Hmmm... Well... The Audi and the four rings did came in existance in 1932.
In 1969, NSU was also absorbed into the union, with VW as the financial
administrator (they got 90% of Audi stock). I recall VW bought Audi
because VAG needed an "upscale marque" in which VW cannot fulfil.

Which brings to me concerning another post just ran through today (or was
that yesterday?). Someone said something about Audi in racing and keeping
the stockholders happy. Uh... who are they anyway? Is that 10% that's
floating around owned by one shareholder, or are there a lot of
investors??
