Paul Choinere's crew got the car rear suspension back together in time to
run the last 3 stages. On the transit back to MTC (finish of the race) we
pass him on the side of the road. Left front strut broken... deep pavement
gouges leading to the car's resting spot.
Henry Joy won (open and overall) in the Mits Lancer. Very happy guy... Its
about time he got one.
Carl Merrill had the best Light show with 6 Hella Rally 4000 HIDs. He was
lighting
up the ridge tops for miles.
Mike Whitman and I, had not to bad of a run for the new car. Had to replace
left rear strut top mounting bolt and RF lower ball joint. No offs or any of
that stuff. We got 9th overall and 6th in open in a Ford Sierra Cosworth.
Mike is getting
the 'crash box' trans figured out... Now if we could just get Anti Lag
System to work
a little better.
