Well, I don't know if I really should inject another idea into this q-list

thread, but I've been surfing the IBMWR (Internet BMW Riders) web page 
and checked out their means for identification.  It is true that the options 
for motorcycles are much more limited than those for "cages" but there is
one thing that I thought was interesting ... license plate frames.  You can 
check out <http://www.ibmwr.org/frames/index.html> to see this alternative,
but above the plate it clearly states "Internet BMW Riders" with the URL 
below.  Although I must admit that some of the sticker ideas have been 
more attractive to me than in the past, if we want to let others know about 
the q-list this would be one way to do so.  I do tend to notice license plate

frames ... perhaps I'm weird ...

I guess that the main drawback to this idea is the fact that I don't know how

internationally applicable a license plate frame would be.  I guess I'll see
if 
there is any interest before going further, but it turns out that the guy who
did
the IBMWR frames is not too far away from where I am, so I can contact him
for more information ...
