Little Audi Boost (non-turbo content)
Tonight I had a nice experience. On may way home from work in Falls Church, VA, a
driver followed me into a gas station, rolled down her window and said in a fetching
European accent "Excuse me, would you consider selling your car?"
Now in DC, not many people seem interested in an 11 year old Audi Coupe, but it seems
she had bought one new, and unfortunately totalled it. She's wanted one ever since.
>From the driver's seat of her big Japanese luxo-box, she said "I drove it my coupe
125,000 miles and never had a problem."
I told her that I had been looking for my car for almost ten years, and didn't intend
to sell, ever, but we had a nice conversation anyhoo.
This leads me to believe ever the more strongly: There are two kinds of people in
this world: People with Audis and people who wish they had Audis.
I've only owned the coupe since January, and alreadly two strangers have asked if it
was for sale. No other car I've driven has inspired that kind of reaction.
Ich <heart> Meinen Audi!
