RE:Service Bulletins

I used the technical service bulletins to fix a harsh lift-throttle
upshift on our 90 Aerostar minivan (ashamed to admit I own one, even
though it's my wife's!!!). It wasn't covered by any warranty so I had to
do the work myself (they quoted $250 to do the work). The ford dealer
was a little reluctant to give me all the details of the TSB but after
some persistance on my part I persuaded them to print out the TSB for
me. I guess the NHTSA web site has a 1-800 number you can call to get
the full details of any TSB - I haven't tried this yet. Some of the
electrical schematic TSB's on the 5K audis look like they might be handy
to have.
