Damn door locks (V8) & alarm

Sorry for the vent, but Scott and I just finished replacing the broken
driver's door lock on my wife's V8.  What a pain in the butt job!  Well
everything is back in and works mechanically well.

EXCEPT:  The damn alarm won't arm or disarm from that door now!  Worse
"occasionally" if you unlock the door it arms the alarm!  I disconnected the
alarm wire in the door for now.

Has anyone done this before?  Could the alarm indexing be off?  The index
indent is lined up.  Thanks, thanks, thanks in advance!
