Just another data point, I've used CC in 2 street/track P-cars and they 
work fine
on the street.  I use them for autox also because they do NOT need to 
get hot to
work.   I measure my rotors for excessive wear and haven't had major 
wear or warpage.
I agree on the noise and brake dust but I'm willing to live with that 
for the greatly increased
braking performance.   In a brake pad test last year by EC, Hawks  wore 
out a set of rotors
in 1 session of testing.
