All of the early production USA A4s had their headlight "assemblies" 
(not lenses) repalced ( including the side markers ). it was a recall 
that was applicable up to something like 10/95 production. That 
was long ago in the car world, if anyone still needs the recall done 
I still have a few headlight assemblies in stock. 

I must report that from the standpoint of someone like myself who
is paid commision on Audi parts sales... the A4 has so far proven
to be anoyingly reliable.
