Sure hope the Car & Driver long-term A4Q (June) is not typical of the
breed, and the mechanical failures can be attributed to:
(1) an early production version (C&D's possible explanation) of the
1996 2.8;
(2) a bad day at the factory;
(3) an example of what happens when many people (different drivers,
different driving styles) use the C&D long-term test vehicles; 
(4) another example of C&D's over-enthusiastic testing - sidestep
launches. 

Hopefully, none of the A4Q owners on the list will experience the same
problems.  Anyone else have the headlight lenses replaced?
