Airbag Indicator - false alarm?

Going through old digests (I can be slow getting through my mailbox), I found
this post about my '89 200qw from the former owner (hi Scott).

All of the above symptoms have been corrected via various means (new multi
function switch, new auto system check circuit board, reseating the fuel
gauge), EXCEPT the intermittent airbag idiot light. I notice it most often
when pulling into a diagonal parking space, e.g. hard right turn at low speed.
It almost feels reminiscent of the other-than-full coolant level triggering
the coolant light during hard turns, but I can't begin to guess what I need
to top-off to calm the airbag light :)

Anyone else seen this phenomenon? Suggested solution?
