Re: After-run relay - It works!!

For the first time in 2 1/2 years (all the time this quattro has been in
my posession) I finally saw the after-run relay in action!  I "fixed"
the relay (really just connected the power lead back in its place) on
thursday afternoon.  It wasn't until today when I was running some
errands that I came back to the car five minutes after parking it and to
my amazement, the fan was on!  It doesn't turn on inmediately, but it
does turn on after a few minutes of parking the car.  I guess this is
what they call the "hot soak period", when the temperature of the engine
bay actually rises right after you park the car.  Now I'm a happy
camper; the cooling system in my car is finally working the way it
should be :)
