Audi, BTCC, and Politicos
In the recent issue of "AutoSport" magazine an article on Audi and
Frank Biela
confirm the "weight-penalty" are hindering Audi's efforts toward the
championship crown. In the article, Frank makes a "plee" toward Alan
Glow
to adjust Audi's weight because the cars is "unsafe in the straights"
and
the other teams developments from last year, have placed the Audi's at
a
"disadvantage" Figuring the weight penalty was placed on the Audi's
last
May, and over the season the other team's HAVE progressed, away from
the Audi's
then it should be only fair, for some of the weight penalty to be
taken off!
The other question on everyone's mind is "how much(if any) of a weight
penalty
will the Renaults be getting, and when? Mr. Glow?
Seems everyone is playing "politicos" here within the BTCC, especially
since
Audi won the rain soaked race of May 5th! Seems the two lead cars,
both at the same time, duck into the pits to get rain tires, and leave
Beila to win!
Plus Alan Menu just "kicks back" and enjoys an easy race, behind the
Audi!
Not unusual for the points lead Alan has after winning the first 4
races!
I do believe the BTCC is becoming the "Greatest Show on Earth"
(No pun intended)
