I haven't seen this point echoed in quite a while, but many of the questions
that are asked on the List could be solved by their owners if they bought the
Audi Factory Repair Manual.  It's not an expensive buy compared to the car
and parts, and will make your life much easier and more informed.  I've seen
at least three sources for these manuals in the back pages of European Car
magazine.  Manuals for newer cars are more expensive, of course, but if you
intend to own and drive the car and you are involved enough to ask a question
on the Quattro list you should at least think about getting one.  

Buy the book if you want to maintain it!
