I replaced every vacuum line on my ur-q. It took some time and a lot of hose
of more than one size - thanks Audi - and a couple of wierd dealer only
rubber bits, but the car starts and runs a lot better. You need quite a few
little hose clamps, too. Many of mine were rusted and fell apart on removal.
Lots of dry, cracked hose ends hidden. Don't overlook the seal on the oil
filler cap. It costs little, but if bad can cause loss of vacuum.
