RE: CD Changer ... which way to go?

if that's what he told you then you just tell him to have a very nice life and go and find yourself a shop where the associates know their equipment and know what they're talking about.

Subject: CD Changer ... which way to go?

I have a 1990 90Q 20V and wish to add a CD changer. Shall I go with
a FM modulator CD changer or some other way? The guy at the audio
shop is pushing the Clarion CDC635 CD changer with the FMC199 CD
Changer Controller w/FM modulator. Package price including
installation would be $350. He says that you really cannot hear the
difference between going this route versus going with the non-FM
modulator approach. Any advice appreciated.
