Re: 4ksq Noise after timing belt and water pump replaced
I have that problem. In fact, I replaced the water pump while doing the
timing belt because I thought (er, was sure) that the sound was coming
from the water pump. But now I believe it is (or better be, dammit) from
the idler pulley whose bearing is going south.
Just haven't had the time (over the winter) to back in there to replace
it.
