latest Hoppen chip
I spoke with Mike Hoppen about their new ECU modification for the S4/S6. It
costs $695 vs $395 for their other mod. He said it delivered the same mid and
high end performance gains as the Original ECU mod. but also delivers an
additional 100 ft/lbs torque more at a low 2200 rpm for greatly improved low
end performance. Sounds great but he said that they change 2 chips and the
pressure sensor. I'm wondering if changing the pressure sensor is a good idea
in terms of long term engine durability. Is that the same effect as changing
the waste gate spring like TAP does? If anyone has any insight into this I'd
love to hear from you.
