I'll nicely point out that 'higher octane gas' will not remove carbon
buildup.  If anything, lifter noise is caused by low oil pressure, or
low pressure in the lifter itself.  Running a cleaner/additive like
BG in the oil or gas may help, but higher octane will just drain 
your wallet...
