Clarification on radiator

Thanks for the responses to my request, I need sonme clarification though
which I am sure I will have no trouble getting with the wealth of knowledge
and experience of all the Q-listers.  Are the  original 87 5Ks radiators
not all metal?  Are the flat tubes that carry the coolant (in between the
little zig zag things) plastic?
    As for the all metal radiator for $145 sounds good(cheaper than my last
one) except that I really don't need a lifetime warranty.  I'm ashamed to
admit my baby has not received the meticulous maintenance she deserves (not
to mention the crimes of an incompetent mechanic back when I was a naive
Audi owner) so I am really looking for an inexpensive, dependable radiator
for at most another 20-30,000 miles(more would be  nice though).  I am
loath to estimate the postage on such an item so if anyone is in my area
(San Diego) that would be fantastic.  But I need one pretty soon so even if
I need to ship it, if the price is low I'll take it.  Please email replies.
