can't open door

What you need is a "slim jim", one of those flat blade dodads that can
be pushed down next to the window glass to operate the door latch
mechanism. Any good car thief near you can lend you one, but failing
that, you can improvise with an 18" piece of strapping band of about
3/4" width. Just cut a v-notch a 1/4" deep in the center third of one
end and a angled notch to make a hook in the other (for future use).
Check Haynes or Bentley to visualize the locking mech, or open up
another door. Then slide your "slim jim" down there and flick the
lever. --Gary
