Oversized Intercoolers
Phil,
What is the reasoning behind:-

I haven't heard of any negative effects, apart from weight I guess, of
going to an oversized intercooler. Was Martin suggesting that because
the air is much colder with the bigger intercooler there is some type
of thermal shock happening to the pistons? Would this differ much from
driving hard on a cold day?

p.s. Great post on the Fuel metering disassembly!
