Shipping cars

You may recall my elation at finding a low mileage 1990 90 20V in
Chattanooga. My memory of that peaky, free-revving engine is remaining
a memory as I wait...and wait, for its arrival.

May 9: car delivered to shipping terminal in Atlanta; claimed shipping
time 9 to 16 days
May 15: told car due in Tacoma, WA on May 20 - 22; car currently in NJ
May 20: told car due " " " May 23 - 24; car still
in NJ
May 22: told car on truck coming up from Portland, OR; Tacoma arrival
that afternoon
May 23: I arrive at work at 6AM, racing to clear afternoon schedule in
order to drive & bus 60 miles through Memorial Day departure traffic to
Tacoma terminal before 5PM closing; verification call finds that
they've tracked wrong truck; told that my car didn't leave Atlanta
until evening of May 21; told that car currently in... you guessed it -
NJ; claimed arrival in Tacoma now to be May 28 or 29.

The freight company calls itself "Dependable Auto Shippers, Inc.".
Their fee was $1050. Make of my experiences what you will.

PS: I feel a little better now. Thanks.
