temperature sensors (on HVAC)

Is there a way to correct the temperature reading on the HVAC system?  
Mine is about 7 degrees C "too cold".  Please reply to me as I've had to 
go off the list for a while.  Thanks.  I think the outdoor temp is way 
out, not sure about the interior temp.
