Re: Ur-Q turbo-to-IC hose...

Jeff

None of the hoses in my ur-q are "crimped", but I am looking at replacing
some or all of the long hose runs with pipe for the reason you mention about
energy loss. I am curious about the "accordion" hose from metering head to
turbo as mine is on its last legs. Why does it have the ball shaped area at
the lower end and is the flex at the top just to aid alignment or is it
intended to absorb some pressure? I spent a good bit of time playing around
in a small area eliminating leaks and kinks in those hoses. I recommend a
thorough cleaning of the IC inside and out while you are at it. There was
lots of old oil in mine.
