Brian vs Liberty Mutual (long)
It goes without say that my car nightmare is not yet over. I really
wanted to thank everyone who has offered any information to me over the past
ten months and allowed me to voice my greivances over this list.
Unfortionately, the people that I have hired to represent me have done a
less than average job doing so. My car still sits on a dealership lot;
shabby bodywork but at least running. I now have this bill from the
dealership for this so-called "my-portion" of the repairs that I cannot
afford to pay. When I originaly brought the car to them for a diagnostic, I
authorized diagnostic work in order to determine the cause of the
malfunctions. Because there was time put into diagnostics that found related
as well as non-related damages, I am expected to pay for the non-related
diagnostics to the tune of $520.00. This normally would not be a problem for
me except that because I havent had my car for nearly ten months, I am flat
broke. I have exhausted thousands of documented as well as undocumented
funds trying to keep my head afloat without transportation. I have lost one
of my jobs; which requires my own reliable transportation and I have had to
drop out of school causing a loss of financial aid as well as bringing my
student loans due. Liberty Mutual refuses to talk to me. I was hung up on
four times today. This and other problems have made me sure that I am being
screwed. For example: It took six appraisers six months to diagnose an
improperly installed and incorrect alernator with a missing alernator belt.
I think this goes a little into unfair and deceptive negligence.
Today I contacted The Boston Globe in an attempt to blab this thing a
little louder. The person that will determine if this case is newsworthy is
Bruce Mohl..... Mohl@NWS.GLOBE.com. If anyone is interested in helping my
cause, an email on my behalf would be greatly appreciated. I have also been
sending email complaints daily to Liberty Mutual
http://www.libertymutual.com/corporate/email/ in order to make my
persistence known. So feel free to voice your opinions to either of the above
addresses on my behalf.
Thanks in advance for so much support.
