I can see it now...
"Due to Audi's 'Unfair Advantage' in the areas of reliablilty and driver
skill, some new rules have to be implemented:
1-Any car that lasts up to five laps without any unusual problems must
have at least three of its tires slashed. Any car that continues to the
final lap with no unusual problems will be disqualified, but the driver
may continue on foot and finish legally.
2-Any driver who places third or higher in three consecutive races must
compete with both feet tied to the brake pedal of his car. Any driver
that wins more than 4 races in a season will be beaten severely by
drivers from the other teams before each competition.
We hope that these changes will keep the BTCC a fair race in which all
manufacturers and all drivers have equal chances of winning."
