You may need to leave a Blaupunkt on,totally undisturbed,overnight.When the 
wife lost the code on her Blaupunkt,it took over 4 hours,and less than 10 
hours to reset...(I went to bed).

If it needs the ignition on run setting,connect to a direct battery feed to 
save draining the battery before a reset has chance to occur.
