Does the coolant level remain above the Minimum mark on the expansion
reservoir? If so, you probably have a coolant level sensor on it's way out,
or maybe a sensor wiring problem. The check system has no direct means
of sensing leaks, only coolant temperature and level. Next time you see this
warning, smack the expansion tank and see if the light goes out. HTH.
