Tranny fluid dipstick

I acquired before about purchasing a tranny fluid dipstick for my '92 100S.
When I went to my dealer and acquired about buying one, I was told I did not
need to check the fluid at all until 90k. Many fellow Q-listers have
mentioned that the tranny fluid needs to be checked sooner. To top things
off, they do not sell the dipstick. Seeing how much tranny repairs are, I
would like to check my fluid now at 63k to see if the level is o.k. Has
anyone bought one of these dipsticks from anywhere else than their dealer?
