4000k maintenance

What kind of problems have you had? Back in the good ole 80's, Audi's were
hot...even outsold BMW one year. Many went for the newer 5000, while I and
a couple of friends went the lower-buck route with the 4000's. My car has
been virtually bulletproof for 140k and my friends cars have also had
gleefully low-maintenance lives. Most of the 5000 owners I knew have since
sold their cars...siting maintenance stories similar to the ones former
boat owners tell.
