90q20v: aftermarket service manual
Is there another service manual besides the Bentley? I do have the
Bentley and find it acceptable as a reference, but it doesn't provide
the kind of detailed procedures found in other service manuals I've
used, including aftermarket (e.g. Haynes, Motorbooks) or manufacturer
(e.g. Alfa, Fiat).
By detailed, I mean, for example, that it shows how to change the timing
belt, starting with the engine out of the car. It doesn't say how to do
the job as any normal person would - engine in car with minimum of other
stuff removed. For that matter, there is no hard replacement interval
on the timing belt. Perhaps the "remove engine first" mentality implies
something about the replacement interval?! :)
