Thermo-Switch location - 87 5KCSTq ?

I need some enlightenment from you fellow listers as to the location of the
temperature sender that controls the cold start valve. There are many
other senders that I have found, but not the one I need. I found the
injector cooling sender (rear of the engine, near wastegate <1 wire - blue
and red), the sender that contols the radiator fan (where coolant hose goes
into head <2 wires, forgot the colors), 2 brass one wire senders in the
same area, and a big sender in the same area with 5 wires. Is this the
one??? Or maybe the one in the bottom of the radiator?

I am still wrestling with my slow start problem. i hooked a light up to
the cold start valve today. doing the fuse/fuel pump thing, i got the
light to light up when it got to the cold start valve test, so the wiring
to that is good. But, the light won't go off (for even a second) during
normal cold cranking. This leads me to believe that the temp sender may be
at fault.

thanks for the list wisdom in advance, and has anyone seen or heard from
Avi Meron? I need to buy a fiche from him.

tom
