RE: Susquehannock Pro rally / RIPP

<<I actually went and worked and spectated my first PRO rally.
One word. Amazing. Watching the water crossing at the end
of stage 1 was life altering. Spectating hair pin turns, waiting
at deserted corners in the middle of the woods at 2:00AM
watching the forrest suddenly turn to daylight and then back
to night at 60 mph was incredible.>>

I believe it!! When I was spectating at Wild West in Washington a couple
of months back, way out in the Forest on the first stage Friday night,
it was absolutely incredible to watch. I remember first you could here
the cars way off in the distance, then you see these bright lights
coming through the trees at around 11:00 PM, as you watch the car come
hurling down this road into a sharp left hand hairpin...absolutely
incredible. I guess that's what really motivated me even more to be
actually in the car, as opposed to just spectating. Still is an
incredible site!!

<<Buffum's Hyundai>>

which I heard hit Henry Joy's Mitsubishi on a transit stage, as Buffum
was trying to pass him!!

Sounded like that was an interesting rally, especially with Buffum
having an 11 minute lead, before the car completely died one mile from
the end of the second to last stage!!

I can't wait to see it on ESPN2!

Best Regards,

Mark Nelson
