That's so cruel.....I had the same thing happen to me, the car was pearl, but
across the country.

Too bad the interior isn't in nice shape, mine is just about perfect.

That's great, I only get 1.7 in 4th and 5th, on ocassion in 3rd....

It sure is, unless it has been chipped in the past. With one person in my car
and less than a quarter tank of gas, the thing really flies off the line.

Never heard of a turbo boost warning light. Don't think he knows what he is
talking about.

I know that engine wasn't cold, those engines get hot and stay hot for a long
time after shut down.

I was going to say don't buy it because of the cosmetic issues, there are plenty
out there that are in really nice shape. However, for 7-10K, you really can't go
wrong. Think about it, it's hard to find a 89 or 90 200 q for that price, a lot
of people price the straight 200's at that. If you can live with the interior,
(you have kids, you must be able to), I say offer 7K. They probably bought it at
an auction for 4-6K. Why wouldn't they want to turn it around quick for 3K?

Stock 1.8 bar max

Good luck, I think you also asked about the turbo having a fitting that doesn't
have a hose going to it? That's the way it's suppose to be.
