Don't panic on this problem.  The same thing happened on my 5Kt. 
Audi has a replacement nipple that is glued inside the stub left on your
radiator.  Actually the cost wasn't much .  I didn't buy their pricy
adhesive but used the all-purpose JB Weld, an epoxie that costs under
$5.00.  Make sure you clean it up good, get it real dry, rough both
mating surfaces a bit with wet/dry sandpaper.  Even a clutz can handle 
this one.  Good luck.
