My 88 Supra Turbo also has a (part) plastic radiator. In the workshop 
manual they have it broken down and its all "rebuildable' according to 
them. Like hell says I.....

Some of the Supra guys have had trouble with the radiators as, on first 
examination, the damn things look so much like metal. Imagine building 
something that, without an intimate knowledge of the car, someone 
trying to pry a stuck hose off the fitting would probably break the 
damn thing. Go figure!
